Here at Arabelle Skin Sense we appreciate that your circumstance changes the way your skin reacts; these include the time of year, changing weather conditions, fluctuating day to day stress levels, lack of sleep or poor diet. Making skin care choices without testing what your skin type often leads to the wrong choice of skincare products.

Wash your face, pat it dry, then take a few pieces of rice paper, thin tissue or lens-cleaning tissue paper and press on different spots on your face. If your skin is oily, the paper will stick, pick up oily spots and become translucent. If the paper doesn’t stick or pick up any oily spots, your skin is dry. If it sticks in your t-zone (forehead, nose and chin) then you have combination (or normal) skin. About 70 percent of women have combination skin.
Below is a quick overview of the main skin types that there are and the relevant products that are suitable.
Oily skin is normally shiny with larger pores that is visible to the naked eye and struggles with blemishes and blackheads. You might also experience some tightness due to the use/over-use of alcohol based and no oil products. These strip your skin of all oils and your skin is forced to produce even more oil and this perpetuates the condition.
What to use: No Flaw Range – All blended with the right oils to control oil production and help bring the skin back to normality.

What to use: Balance It Range – The ingredients in this range are specially blended to help moisturise the dry patches on the cheek and also control the oil in the T-Zone area.
This is a delicate skin type where the skin is thin with fine pores. It is prone to rashes, allergic reactions, broken capillaries, redness and it flushes easily

This skin type will normally feel tight especially after cleansing. It is prone to flaking, redness and fine lines. Women may often experience ashy tones in darker complexions because of build up of dead skin. This skin type is one to watch out for because due to dryness, fine lines soon become embedded lines.

What to use: Stay Young Range – This range is made to nourish, protect, rejuvenate and help with cell regeneration to combat signs of aging.
